Goodbye, My Childhood is a first-person documentary that begins with director Jinjun's own life and expands into the broader experiences of women. Through first-person narration, observational documentary, personal archive, and hand-drawn animation, it follows a disappeared generation as they redefine family, belonging, and freedom through memory, trauma, mother-daughter relationships, and self-narration.
