Aunt Xin lives in an aging village where most younger residents have moved away. The remaining elders face renewed dispersion, invisible boundaries, and fading memories of the opposite shore. Daily life, border landscape and the character's inner terrain gradually weave together. Past and present overlap while memory and reality become indistinguishable. Their spiritual landscape remains perpetually "floating": where can they place their sense of connection and identity? The film hopes to rewrite the cold geography with a different kind of "map", using cinematic language: a map drawn by memory, emotions, poetry and personal history.
