Having three daughters and two sons, he and his wife, Wang Baodi, had been living comfortably and peacefully in their ancestral house, No. 63 of Taohuawu. But a sudden “Old City Reconstruction” demolition project disturbed Taohuawu’s peace. 94-year-old Mr. Tang was unwilling to leave his home. Could he finally hold his homeland?
