This is a documentary filmed in ten years. It vividly records nine years after the “5.12”Wenchuan earthquake in 2008 when more than 700 villagers in the two villages of Xige and Zhitai returned home where they had lived for generations but forced to leave because of the natural disaster. This is a solemn journey of returning home, offering ancestors and worshipping gods. On the way of migration and return, the joys and sorrows of get-together and partings between human and gods are very touching.
